I’ve been using Photoshop and Adobe Animate since the early 1993, when Photoshop was first ported to Windows, and Animate was still FutureWave SmartSketch and didn’t even have animation capabilities. I’m familiar with the entire suite of Adobe products, and have extensive experience in Photoshop, Animate, Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Bridge, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and Camera Raw. I’ve done 3D modeling and animation with an array of applications including Autodesk 3ds Max, Foundy modo, and SketchUp. I’ve worked as a photographer and photo retoucher. I’ve created motion graphics and digital paintings. I’ve done compositing and video editing. I’ve designed and created a variety of websites, business cards, and print and digital ads. I’ve been a professional writer since the late 1980’s. In that time, I’ve been the author of five non-fiction books, and co-author of two more, on subjects ranging from Photoshop and Flash (now Animate) to BattleBots and artificial life. I am also the author of many, many articles for magazines ranging from Desktop Engineering and Computer Gaming World to Aquarium Fish Magazine and the Air Force Times. 3D Modeling, Rendering, and Animation I’ve done 3D modeling and animation with an array of applications including Autodesk 3ds Max, Foundy modo, and SketchUp. 2D Animation I’ve been using Adobe Animate since early 1993, when Animate was still FutureWave SmartSketch and didn’t even have animation capabilities. I wrote a book about animating with the program back when in was called Macromedia Flash. I guess what I’m saying is that we’ve been together a long time.
